About this role

About us

Plenit (formerly Jotelulu) is the Operating Platform for IT Service Providers. We help MSPs, ISVs, VARs, and IT resellers run, scale, and grow their businesses on top of our own sovereign infrastructure, with footprint across Europe and the Americas.

We are a European cloud platform with a clear conviction: digital sovereignty matters, and the IT channel deserves a partner that speaks their language, builds for their reality, and stays close to the ground. We are not enterprise-y. We are simple, pragmatic, and obsessed with our partners’ success.

Five years in, we are 130 people, four countries, and growing fast — which is exactly why we are bringing this role on now.

The challenge

We are looking for our VP of Product — a builder, a leader, and a deeply technical product mind who will own Plenit’s product strategy alongside the CEO and lead the organization that ships it.

This is a co-author role. Plenit is at a stage where product strategy and company strategy are the same conversation, and we want one technical leader close enough to the CEO to hold both at once. You will set the direction, the bar, and the rhythm for everything we build.

You will lead the product organization across four divisions — Cloud, Marketplace, IT Management, and Go-To-Market — each with its own Software Engineering, Infrastructure, AI, UX, and Product Management talent reporting up through their leads to you.

This is a hands-on role. You will not be the person who hears about the problem second-hand. A VP of Product at Plenit reviews a tricky bare-metal provisioning flow in the morning, sits with a UX lead on a partner onboarding redesign at noon, and ends the day in a model-eval session with the AI team. You will carry enough context across software, infrastructure, AI, and design that when a lead needs a decision, you can make it — fast, and with substance.

You will also be the connective tissue between Product and the rest of Plenit — Sales, Partner Success, Marketing, Operations — building and protecting the trust that makes the roadmap real.

Expected outcomes and impact

  • Co-author Plenit’s product strategy directly with the CEO. Translate company strategy into product bets, sequencing, and a roadmap the whole company can rally behind.

  • Lead the Product organization across four divisions — Cloud, Marketplace, IT Management, and Go-To-Market — owning the leadership, hiring, and performance of the Software Engineering, Infrastructure, AI, UX, and Product Management functions inside them.

  • Be hands-on across every layer. Get into provisioning flows, infrastructure trade-offs, AI evaluations, UX critiques, and pricing decisions — with enough context in each to lead the conversation, not just chair it.

  • Own the magic of simplicity. Hold the line on a product that is sophisticated enough for deeply technical buyers and radically simple for them to operate. Push back on complexity that does not pay for itself.

  • Hold the line on our mission to turn MSPs into Technology Partners. Every product decision should move our partners further from being technical specialists and closer to being business consultants — meaning the platform absorbs the technical depth so they can focus on understanding their customers’ business.

  • Build trust with Sales, Partner Success, Marketing, and Operations. Make the roadmap credible, the trade-offs legible, and the product story one every team can tell with a straight face.

  • Stay close to partners. Sit with MSPs, ISVs, VARs, and IT resellers. Understand their P&L, their offerings, their customers, and their pain. Translate what you learn into product, pricing, and program improvements.

  • Operate with simplicity and speed. Cut bureaucracy, remove friction, and protect engineering focus. We win because we are easier to work with than the alternatives — internally and externally.

  • Represent Plenit’s product point of view externally with partners, the press, and the European tech ecosystem when it matters.

Requirements that are important for us

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in product, with a meaningful portion of that time leading platform, infrastructure, or developer-facing products for technical audiences.

  • Proven track record leading cross-functional product organizations — Software Engineering, Infrastructure, AI, UX, and Product Management — not just PM teams.

  • Technical depth across at least three of: cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, networking, AI/ML in production, security, or developer platforms. Enough to argue specifics with the relevant lead and earn their respect.

  • Experience shipping products to technical buyers — MSPs, integrators, developers, infrastructure teams, IT operations — and a documented track record of making complex products feel simple.

  • Experience working directly with a CEO or founder on company-level strategy, not just product roadmaps.

  • Fluent English and professional working Spanish (or willingness to operate in both day-to-day).

  • Willingness to travel within Europe to be with partners and teams.

Nice to have

  • Experience scaling a cloud, infrastructure, or platform business focused on the IT channel (MSP, ISV, VAR, distribution) from early stage into category leadership.

  • Background in companies that own both software and infrastructure in production — you understand the operational reality of running a real fleet, not just renting one.

  • Production-grade experience shipping AI features inside an infrastructure or B2B SaaS product, with a clear view on what is real and what is theater.

  • Built or scaled a marketplace, saas platform, or multi-tenant control plane.

  • Competed directly against a hyperscaler in a product category — and did not lose.

  • Operator mindset: comfortable owning roadmap economics, forecasting delivery accurately, and making trade-offs between speed and depth.

Why Plenit

You will lead the product organization for a category-defining European platform with our own sovereign infrastructure across Europe and the Americas. You will report directly to the CEO, lead four product divisions, and have the mandate, the budget, and the autonomy to make the bet real.

The combination is rare: software plus hardware plus AI, in production, at European compliance standards, sold to technical buyers who hate being condescended to. If that sentence energizes you instead of overwhelming you, this role is built for you.

If you believe the IT channel deserves a better operating system — simpler, more sovereign, more honest about what infrastructure actually is — and that MSPs are ready to stop being technical specialists and start being the Technology Partners their customers actually need, we’d love to talk.

We’re passionate about technology, but we’re also a bit geeky—we love Star Wars, video games, 90s movies, and pop culture. We work hard and with passion, but we also have a great time together. At Jotelulu, you’ll find a balance between work and fun, where teammates often become friends, and boredom is rare—there’s always something new, unexpected, and memorable happening.
