Chief Financial Officer

Permanent employee, Full-time · Híbrido

About this role

A little background

Who exactly are we?

Our story is the one of a group of Cloud and technology enthusiasts who always had a clear goal: make things much easier for tech companies. Since no one was really stepping up to fill that gap in Spain’s Cloud sector, we figured—why not build our own product?

We started small, and now we’re over 130 people and still growing. Today, Jotelulu’s products are used in thousands of offices and businesses in retail, construction, industry, hospitality, transportation, and more, across over 8 countries in Europe and the Americas.

Every step we take is driven by the desire to do things better, bring something new, and shake things up—because that’s the only way innovation truly has meaning.

The challenge

What are we up to these days?

After years of growth and continuous improvement, Jotelulu is at a key moment. We’re scaling fast across Europe and Latin America, expanding our product portfolio—Servers, Remote Desktop, DRaaS, File/Object Storage, and Marketplace—while preparing for our next major milestone: Series B fundraising.

That’s where you come in.

The role

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for an exceptional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Executive Team and lead Jotelulu’s financial strategy through its next phase of growth.

Reporting directly to our CEO, David Amorín, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our financial roadmap, leading capital-raising initiatives, and strengthening the company’s financial operations to support our European expansion.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role — perfect for a finance leader who thrives in dynamic, high-growth SaaS environments and enjoys building processes, teams, and systems that scale.

What you’ll own and drive

Strategy & Financial Leadership

  • Define and execute Jotelulu’s long-term financial strategy, aligning it with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support decision-making.
  • Oversee Series B fundraising, managing relationships with equity and debt investors.
  • Drive pricing strategy, unit economics, and capital allocation decisions.
  • Ensure financial planning supports international expansion across multiple geographies.
  • Present board materials, financial reports, and risk assessments to the Executive Team.

Finance Operations & Governance

  • Oversee finance and legal functions, ensuring compliance with Spanish and EU regulations.
  • Implement and optimize financial systems (ERP, BI tools) and automation processes.
  • Supervise statutory reporting, tax strategy, and risk management.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and lead external audits.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Build and develop a high-performing finance and legal team, promoting efficiency and accountability.
  • Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to analyze performance, model scenarios, and make strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with external advisors, auditors, and regulators.

Day-to-day tasks

  • Lead weekly finance team syncs and individual 1:1s to align goals, track progress, and support development.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and KPIs for the Executive Team and Board.
  • Monitor cash flow, optimize capital structure, and manage banking relationships.
  • Oversee the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with the Product and Operations teams to align spending with growth priorities.
  • Review and negotiate major contracts, vendor agreements, and investment opportunities.
  • Support due diligence and investor meetings during fundraising rounds.
  • Represent Jotelulu in financial, legal, and investor-related events.
  • Travel regularly between Madrid HQ and key international locations to ensure alignment and oversight.

Tooling you’ll use

  • Financial Systems & ERP: NetSuite, Odoo, or similar platforms
  • Analytics & Reporting: Power BI, Excel, Google Sheets
  • Forecasting & Modeling: Adaptive Planning, Anaplan
  • Project & Task Management: Jira, Confluence
  • Communication & Collaboration: Slack, Microsoft Teams
  • CRM & Documentation: Salesforce, Notion, or equivalent tools
