About this role

The Jotelulu team is looking for an experienced Windows System Engineer to join our infrastructure team, supporting the management and scaling of our Windows-based environments. As a Windows System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Windows server infrastructure to ensure the stability, security, and performance of our cloud platform. You will play a key role in scaling and optimizing our Windows-based services, supporting a growing user base across various cloud offerings.

You will work closely with our infrastructure and operations teams to deliver reliable and scalable Windows-based solutions.
Our ideal candidate is a Windows expert, comfortable with large-scale deployments, automation tools, and security best practices. You will contribute to enhancing our Windows infrastructure, solving complex issues, and driving improvements to ensure high availability and efficiency.

You will

Design, implement, and maintain Windows server infrastructure to support the company's cloud platform.
Optimize performance, reliability, and security for Windows-based services and applications.
Automate server deployment, configuration, and management using industry-standard tools and scripts.
Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
Implement and maintain Active Directory, DNS, and other core Windows services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and enhancements.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Windows systems and services.
Document technical processes and procedures for ongoing maintenance and support.

What We Are Looking For

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of experience with Windows server administration (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022).
Extensive experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and other Windows core services.
Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and system management.
Experience with server monitoring and performance tuning for Windows-based environments.
Familiarity with virtualization platforms and managing virtualized Windows environments.
Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols
Familiarity with security best practices and hardening Windows-based systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge about licensing of microsoft products
Knowledge of Windows Failover Clustering and high-availability configurations.
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies for Windows-based services.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
